I babysat my niece Addison tonight.
She's so cute. Laughing, learning new words.
It was getting close to bedtime so I put her in the bath.
Washed, wrapped her in a towel, snuggled on the couch for a minute.
Put on diaper and pajamas, she got up, grabbed "teddy" then went right back on the floor and lied down.
I snatched her up, went into her room, she pointed to her blanket, I wrapped her up, laid her in the crib.
She rolled over, and silent.
Not every child is a monster when it comes to bedtime routine.
Maybe we'll get that lucky with our own kids.
Here's hoping.
