Looking back, I'm sure this was Mom's
"we're so totally broke so this is what we can do" go-to dinner
But I actually liked it!

Biscuits, basic white sauce, dried beef, and peas.
SOS.
I never did get why she called it that
but beggars can't be choosers.
YUM! That looks SO GOOD! I totally forgot about SOS but I'm thinking that will have to make it's way on our menu very soon.
ReplyDeleteOH, I love it! :) We always make it with toast and use ham lunch meat. Knowing Grandpa & my Father in law... I can TOTALLY tell you what SOS stands for. It's a military thing. Maybe I'll let Wikipedia explain. ;)
